The Bosham brick light is designed to sit flush in a wall or the riser of a step, adding safe, low-level light without anything sticking out to catch a foot. It is a neat answer for garden steps, stairways, raised decks and low retaining walls, where a little light at ankle height makes all the difference after dark. Two faces are available: a clean rectangle for a wide, soft pool of light, or a grille that directs the beam down and cuts glare.

Both versions are built with a brushed stainless steel panel over tempered glass, and rubber gaskets seal the housing to IP65 so rain and damp are kept out. A 3 W LED gives a bright, even 210 lumens while using very little power. Choose crisp white 6000K light to match modern cool-toned schemes, or warm white 3000K for a softer, more welcoming glow along a patio or path.

The stainless steel face resists rust and scuffs, and the tempered glass stands up to knocks, so the light keeps looking tidy for years. Plan the cut-out before you build or render, and allow one light every few steps for an even run. Mixing both styles on the same project works well, with grilles on the stairs and rectangles along the walls. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
