About Us

Aldridge Home is a British lighting and homeware store. We sell wall lights, pendants, table lamps and garden lighting, alongside a small, edited range of pieces for the rest of the home. We believe a room should feel settled rather than staged, and that everything in it should earn its place through daily use. Every product we stock is chosen against one test: would we live with it ourselves, in a real house, for the next ten years.

The store grew out of a frustration shared by anyone who has furnished a home on a budget. Too much of what is sold looks convincing in a photograph and disappoints once it is on the wall. Too much of what genuinely lasts is priced out of reach. So we began sourcing directly, cutting out the layers that add cost without adding quality, and building a short range rather than an endless catalogue. Every piece is checked before it leaves us, packed properly, and sent with tracking so you always know where it is.

Our Mission

To make well made lighting reachable for ordinary homes. That means honest materials instead of finishes that imitate them, clear specifications instead of clever marketing, and a price that reflects the product rather than the supply chain behind it. We ship free across the United Kingdom and the United States, we take returns for thirty days without argument, and we answer our own emails.

To become the first place people think of when they want to light a room properly, on both sides of the Atlantic. Not the largest lighting store, but the one people trust: a short, carefully judged range where every piece has been thought about, and where buying is simple enough that you never have to think about us at all.

What We Stand For

Restraint above all. We favour honest materials over finishes that imitate them, shapes that stay right over shapes that date, and straight answers over sales copy. We would rather sell one light that suits your home than five that nearly do. If a piece is not right, we would rather have it back than have you keep it.
