The Belford candlestick lantern brings an industrial edge to garden lighting, with a black frame and a cut-out pattern that throws light and shadow across the ground. Choose horizontal lines for a clean, modern look or a grid for a more architectural feel. Inside, a warm white LED gives the soft glow of a candle without the flame. It looks equally good on a windowsill indoors, adding a gentle glow to a kitchen or conservatory.

A built-in light sensor does the work for you, switching the lantern on at dusk and off again at dawn. The amorphous silicon solar panel performs well in lower light, which suits British weather, and four to six hours of charging gives five to six hours of light. An IP54 rating protects it from splashes and showers in sheltered spots.

The top handle makes it easy to move the lantern from the patio to the table, hang it from a tree or pergola, or stand it on a windowsill or step. It works well in groups, and the black finish looks at home with modern and industrial garden furniture. To clean, switch off and wipe with a dry cloth.
