The Minster tree ring light is made for one job: lighting a tree from its base so the trunk and canopy stand out beautifully after dark. Its lights sit around the foot of the tree and direct a strong upward beam that traces the texture of the bark and the layers of branches above. A single light suits a slim ornamental tree, while rings of up to six lights give even coverage for a broad, mature specimen.

Two installation types are available. The no-insert version fixes around the trunk without digging into the ground, while the ground-insert version sets into the surrounding lawn for a flush, tidy finish. Each light has a 12 W LED giving 840 lumens of warm white 3000K light, housed in die-cast aluminium behind a tempered glass lens and sealed to IP65 against rain, irrigation and damp soil.

Several styles are offered with different ring arrangements, so you can choose the layout that best suits the size and shape of your tree. Most styles run on low-voltage DC24V, and style D is also available as a mains version. Wipe the lenses clean with a dry cloth, with the power off, to keep the beam bright. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
