The Belsay pillar light brings a touch of European elegance to gate posts and garden walls. The square die-cast aluminium lantern is spun, sandblasted and coated in a rich coffee gold finish for a refined, vintage look, and the frosted glass shade diffuses the light into an even, gentle glow. It has the look of a traditional gate lamp with the practical benefits of modern LED lighting.

Choose the hardwired version for a steady warm white light from a standard E27 holder, or the solar version to skip the wiring and switch between warm, neutral and cool white. Five widths, from 20 cm to 50 cm, let you match the light to the top of your pillar, and a reinforced aluminium base keeps it firmly fixed in place. The solar version gives six to twelve hours of light after a sunny day.

The coating adds weather, heat and corrosion resistance, and the IP54 rating protects against rain and dust for year-round outdoor use. It suits driveway and garden gate posts, walled entrances, courtyards and the approach to period and country homes. Measure the top of your pillar before choosing a size. Hardwired fittings should be installed by a qualified electrician. The glass lets light through on all four sides, so the post is lit from every angle.
