The Verano is built from die cast aluminium and sealed under a frosted lacquer coating, so the body resists rust, oxidation and colour fade through repeated wet and cold spells. The IP54 rating covers driving rain, humidity and prolonged sun exposure, which is what allows the fixture to stay outdoors year round without a protective recess or porch overhang.

Light is thrown in two directions at once, upward across the wall and downward over the threshold below. That twin beam does two jobs in one fitting: it picks out the texture of brick, render or stone as a wash of light, and it puts usable brightness exactly where a step or door handle sits. A single unit covers 3 to 5 square metres, so a pair either side of a doorway lights an entrance fully.

Behind the housing sits a ripple profile heat sink that pulls warmth away from the LED array. Running an LED cooler directly extends its service life, which matters most in a hardwired fitting that is awkward to reach once mounted. At 18W the fitting puts out 1735 lumens of 6000K cool white, which gives maximum definition along a path, driveway or entrance rather than a soft decorative glow.
