The Dunster fence lights are a quick, tidy way to bring soft light to the edges of a garden. Sold as a set of four, each compact light fixes to a fence panel, post, low wall or step riser and casts a warm white glow downwards, marking boundaries and making it easier to find your way after dark. Black suits dark-stained fences and modern schemes, while white brightens pale walls and painted timber.

A polycrystalline solar panel on top of each light charges the built-in battery through the day, and a light sensor turns the lights on at dusk and off at dawn. After six to eight hours of charging they give six to eight hours of gentle 3000K light, and a push-button switch lets you turn them off when you prefer. There are no cables to run, so they can go anywhere the sun reaches.

The lightweight plastic body is impact resistant, and the IP44 rating protects against splashing water, making the lights suitable for fences, steps and low walls in the open garden. Fit them evenly along a fence line, stagger them up a flight of garden steps, or use them to outline a deck or patio. Each set contains four lights, so a longer run can be built up easily.
