The Clovelly recessed ground light sits flush with the surface of a lawn, path or patio, so it all but disappears by day and marks the way with a gentle glow after dark. A fully sealed aluminium alloy body keeps water and dust out, and a monocrystalline solar panel on top gathers energy through the day. There are no cables to bury and no electrician to book, which makes it easy to add light exactly where it is needed.

Seven sizes are available, from a compact 10 cm light with four LEDs to a 25 cm model with sixteen, so you can mark a narrow stepping-stone path or light the edge of a wide driveway. After six or more hours of full sun it switches itself on at dusk and off again at dawn, giving a soft 3000K warm white light that guides rather than dazzles.

Set a row along a garden path, circle a patio, or dot a few across a lawn to break up a dark stretch of grass. The IP65 rating means rain and garden watering are no concern, and because each light is self-contained you can lift and move it if your planting changes. For the best results, place each one where it gets direct sun for most of the day.
