The Morpeth lantern wall light gives a front door or garden wall a classic, timeless look. The die-cast aluminium frame is shaped like a traditional coach lantern and finished in black for a crisp look or bronze for a warmer, heritage feel, and the glass shade lets light through evenly for a soft, welcoming glow. It measures around 18 × 24 × 34 cm, a generous size that stays in proportion on most front walls.

Choose the solar version for easy, wire-free fitting. Its panel charges a 2200mAh battery in five to six hours of sun for up to ten hours of warm light, with built-in battery protection. The hardwired version gives steady light every night from a standard E27 holder, so bulbs are easy to change. Both are rated IP55 against rain and dust.

The aluminium body resists corrosion and rust and helps the light run cool, so it keeps looking smart season after season. Fit a pair either side of the front door, one beside the garage or several along a garden wall for a consistent, traditional scheme that suits cottages and period homes. Hardwired fittings should be installed by a qualified electrician. The solar version is also handy for sheds, garden rooms and outbuildings with no power supply.
