The Bainbridge Up Down Outdoor Wall Light throws light in two directions at once, washing the wall above and below with a crisp, architectural beam. Its slim cylindrical form is made from lightweight, rust-resistant aluminium with a light-transmitting glass shade, and it comes in four finishes: pure white, white with gold, pure black and black with gold, so you can match modern render, brick or timber cladding.

A built-in 10W LED delivers around 700 lumens, and you can choose between warm white at 3000K for a welcoming glow or white at 6000K for a brighter, cleaner look. Used in pairs either side of a front door, spaced along a garden wall or fitted to a balcony, the up and down effect adds depth and drama to the exterior of your home while helping you see steps, paths and door locks clearly after dark.

With an IP65 rating the Bainbridge is sealed against rain, wind and dust, making it suitable for exposed porches, courtyards and garden walls as well as covered indoor areas such as corridors. It is a hardwired fitting controlled from a wall switch, and installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician in line with local wiring regulations. To clean it, turn off the power and wipe the body and glass with a dry cloth.
