The Castleton bollard light is a slim, square post in matt black, topped with a clear acrylic diffuser that spreads a soft glow across the ground around it. Its simple lines suit contemporary gardens and newer homes, and it looks just as at home on a lawn edge as it does lining a driveway. Five heights are available, from a knee-high 60 cm up to a striking 200 cm, so you can build a layered scheme with more than one size.

The body is die-cast aluminium, which resists rust and corrosion through years of wind and rain. An integrated 6 W LED gives 420 lumens of warm white 3000K light, bright enough to mark a route clearly without flooding the garden. The IP55 rating protects against dust and water jets from any direction, making it well suited to open paths, planting beds and the edges of drives.

Use the shorter posts to guide visitors along a garden path, place mid-height bollards at the corners of a terrace, and let the taller ones mark an entrance or gateway. Because the LED is built in, there are no bulbs to change, and upkeep is limited to a wipe with a dry cloth once the power is off. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
