The Tanfield outdoor pendant light takes its cue from classic European porch lanterns, with a metal orb cage wrapped around a clear glass globe. The aluminium frame comes in black for a crisp, modern look or bronze for a warmer, heritage feel, and either finish suits brick, render or timber-clad exteriors. The orb cage adds a decorative pattern of light and shadow on surrounding walls.

Three sizes let you scale the light to the space, from a compact globe for a cottage porch to a larger statement piece over a wide entrance or patio. A 50 cm adjustable chain is included so you can set the drop to suit the ceiling height. The standard E27 holder takes a bulb of your choice, which is not included, and a warm white LED bulb gives the most welcoming glow. Each light is sold individually, so you can buy one or match a pair across a wide doorway.

Rated IP54, the Tanfield is designed for covered outdoor spaces such as porches, verandas, garden eaves, back patios and entryways, where it is sheltered from direct downpours. It also works indoors in hallways and kitchens where an industrial look is wanted. Hardwired fittings should be installed by a qualified electrician. Pair black with modern cladding or bronze with brick and stone.
