The hardwired version is noticeably brighter at 1050 lumens and suits main routes where you want dependable light every night. Both give a warm white 3000K glow that is comfortable to walk by and never harsh.

The aluminium body resists rust, and the IP54 rating protects against dust and splashing rain, so the light is at home on open lawns and planted borders. Position solar models where they get direct sun for most of the day. For the hardwired version, installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, and both versions need only a wipe with a dry cloth to keep them looking their best.
