The Kirkham Bed Wedge Pillow runs the full width of your bed, giving you a soft, upright backrest to lean on for reading, watching films or breakfast in bed. Instead of stacking pillows that slip and flatten, you rest against one firm, even slope that supports your back and shoulders and stays in shape all evening, even when you shift position or sit up to reach for a drink.

It works beautifully as a headboard alternative, too. Stand it against the wall or an existing headboard and it gives the bed a finished, upholstered look, especially in one of the ten colours from calm beige and grey to deep green, navy and salmon. Five sizes, from 100 cm for a single to 200 cm for the widest beds, mean you can match it closely to your mattress. When you are ready to sleep, lay it down as a long bolster or simply leave it in place behind your pillows.

The cotton cover unzips for machine washing on a cool, gentle cycle and should be air dried. A handy side pocket keeps your phone, glasses or remote within reach so nothing slides off the bed. It is just as comfortable on the sofa for long, lazy evenings in.
